Additional Description: We're all looking for a classic that represents its era so well, and that's what makes this 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 so instantly appealing. And the black carpeting was even replaced to keep this classic feeing fresh. It's a detail-oriented look from the special corded grip around the Z/28 steering wheel to the factory storage bags for the T-tops. The engine bay continues the extraordinarily preserved look. Everything is correct and clean, right down to the "Keep Your GM Car All GM" decal on the air cleaner. The consignor states this 350 cubic-inch V8 is the original motor. Not only does the block code reaffirm it, but also it's part of the highly original package you get from a coupe with this kind of desirable history. Emissions regulations meant this powerplant didn't always have the best horsepower figures of the Camaros, but the ace up its sleeve was that the motor has similar torque figures to the Mercedes sports cars of the day.
