Subaru has split the difference between a wagon and a crossover, creating a winning combination. Subaru has made the previously optional EyeSight Driver Assist Technology package—which includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, and automatic high-beam headlamps—standard on all 2019 Outback models. Other changes are limited to a new overhead light above the center console, a standard 5.0-inch LCD readout in the gauge cluster, and two front USB ports. Premium and Limited models now come with an auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass and HomeLink.
