Additional Description: 1969 was the absolute pinnacle year for performance muscle including the Ford Mustang with no fewer than six factory performance Mustangs being offered for that year. The Mach 1 started with a V8 Sportroof body style previously known as the Fastback, it had visual as well as performance enhancing itmes such as matte black hood treatment, hood pin, suspension and chrome exhaust tips. This particular Mach 1 is the coveted R Code example with the 428 SCJ with ram air and the 4:30 Detroit locker trac lok rear end. This car was originally built on 1/21/1969 in Silver Jade over white vinyl. It has had a recent complete restoration and shows like new inside and out.
