Additional Description: Fantastic 1956 Buick Roadmaster. It could be the best 4 door hardtop out there at this price range. It is an older restoration that was a high level car in the early 2000s and still displays very well today. A National First Prize Winner in the AACA in 2002! This AACA Senior would be a great car for all your cruise night events, tours, car shows, or the certain collector who is missing a great looking 1956 Buick 4 Door Hardtop in their personal collection. Beautiful colors! Details/Features: 322ci V8 engine (4 BBL, 255 HP) - Dynaflow Transmission (fully automatic) - Power Steering - Power Brakes - Power Windows - Power Seat - Factory Air Conditioning - Deluxe radio (original AM - plays great!) - Windshield washer - Wide white wall tires - Dual exhaust - Very tidy engine and trunk compartments - Seat/safety belts - All working factory gauges and lights - Beautiful interior/upholstery - ** AACA Senior Award Winner 2002 ** - Recent check-up/tune up The original V8 starts easy (still using the pedal start), runs and sounds great, and makes very good power. The transmission also operates well at all speeds. All of the windows go up and down. It has all working factory gauges, lights, radio, etc. The A/C is currently not working as it will need a rebuild or replacement compressor. The original compressor will be included in a box in the trunk if the new owner wishes to have it rebuilt at a later time. Overall, the car runs and drives excellent and is very easy to drive, especially with the power steering and brakes. The car looks great inside and out. Very striking colors with beautiful chrome and stainless. There are some touch up areas on the paint finish, and minor flaws present due to age and use, but the car still displays very well as is. The upholstery is also very nice and the car has a beautiful dash and steering wheel. As a whole, the car is nice enough today to win a trophy at most local car shows you attend. No major flaws or issues. Certainly no rust.
