Additional Description: Huber Automotive presents this 2006 Nissan 350z convertible, a one-of-a-kind race car featuring tribute BRE Livery, custom made BBS wheels, a SOHO-built VQ35 V6 with a Vortech supercharger, and too much to list. Historical Summary: As a former Datsun and Nissan dealer, we've had a passion for vintage Datsun racing and the lineage of NIssan racing as a whole. We bought this car in early 2017 and invested tens of thousands of dollars in race prep and powetrain build, with a stack of receipts, records, etc. Rewinding back a bit, In 2014 the vehicle was designed and built as a Sema show car, where it was refinished in BRE livery as a tribute to Brock Race Engineering. Peter Brock himself signed the car, and it was used as a promo car for Braille Batteries and Nissan North America making its way to several promo events and doing a couple of promotional (parade) laps at Road Atlanta. We acquired the car in early 2017, and fell in love with the vintage livery on the somewhat-modern 350z platform. We already have a tribute Datsun 510 race car, a 280zx road racer, and a host of other Datsun and Nissan products, so this was a nice addition to the road racing collection. When we purchased the car, we did so with the intent of racing it. The car's Road Racing classification for SCCA is Super Production and for SVRA it is Group 11. Exterior: The body is a 2006 Nissan 350z convertible. It wears a full widebody conversion, has a removable front bumper, hood, and carbon fiber decklid. The car features a two-toned paint scheme as a tribute to the award winning BRE race team of the 70's and 80's. The wheels are custom made BBS wheels ordered direct from BBS and built specifically for this car. The spoiler is a carbon fiber unit from APR, and it's wearing Hoosier racing slicks at all 4 corners. Interior: Inside, the car features a Haltech Platinum Pro standalone ECU with Haltech's lQ3 dash to display the vitals. The driver is held in place via Sparco EVO racing seat, complimenting the MPI Quick release steering wheel, and a new SPA Technique fire system. Powertrain: Under the hood, this 350z has a fresh SOHO Motorsports Stage 1 VQ35DE V6 with JE pistons, 10;1 compression, Eagle rods, Kid rod & main bearings, ARP studs, and more. The block was inspected, cleaned, re-decked and honed. The rotating assembly was balanced, professionally assembled, and documented. All proper lubricants were used by the pros at SOHO, and the build is dependable and complete with no expense spared. Heads were pulled and refreshed by Performance Research Inc, including Manley valves, milled surfaces, mutli-angle valve job, fully checked, cleaned, and reassembled. Exhaust is a full unit with Z1 Motorsports headers, Berk test pipes, and a custom fabricated rear exit system with 3" piping. Fuel injectors are new DeatschWerks 1000cc and it has a new Spec stage 3 cutch. The transmission and rear end were the units in the car when we purchased it last year and both feel great. When the build was done, they did not seem to need upgraded based on power output. Performance: Tuning is done through a Haltech unit from SOHO, and the dyno tuning was completed by the Toy Barn in Dublin, Ohio. The car was dialed in with a conservative tune making 385whp and 328wtq, and the power delivers consistent and responsive across the rpm range. Brakes, Suspension, etc: Suspension features a BC Coilover system with adjustable height and dampening control, and the brakes are Wilwood's big brake kit for the 350z front and rear with red finished calipers. The wheels are 18" BBS 2-piece units ($4k build cost) made specifically to fit this car and ordered direct from BBS. The tires are Hoosier slicks, 18x10" front and 18x11" rear. As with most track applications, the car could be dialed in differently depending on your preferences, but as it sits it's ready to go. Summary: This 350z is unlike any you'll see, It's one of one, vintage racer.160-Watt AM/FM CD Radio w/6 Speakers,6 Speakers,AM/FM radio,CD player,Air Conditioning,Automatic temperature control,Rear window defroster,Power driver seat,Power steering,Power windows,Remote keyless entry,Steering wheel mounted audio controls,Four wheel independent suspension,Speed-sensing steering,Traction control,4-Wheel Disc Brakes,ABS brakes,Anti-whiplash front head restraints,Dual front impact airbags,Front anti-roll bar,Integrated roll-over protection,Low tire pressure warning,Rear anti-roll bar,Brake assist,High-Intensity Discharge Headlights,Panic alarm,Security system,Speed control,Bumpers: body-color,Convertible roof wind blocker,Heated door mirrors,Power door mirrors,Auto-dimming Rear-View mirror,Cloth Seat Trim,Convertible roof lining,Driver door bin,Driver vanity mirror,Front Cupholders,Front reading lights,Garage door transmitter: HomeLink,Illuminated entry,Leather Shift Knob,Outside temperature display,Passenger vanity mirror,Power convertible roof,Tachometer,Tilt steering wheel,Trip computer,Voltmeter,Front Bucket Seats,Front Sport Bucket Seats,Power passenger seat,Passenger door bin,Alloy wheels,Glass rear window,Speed-Sensitive Wipers,Variably intermittent wipers,Sought After Options Include
